"Comet" ISON will soon be visible in the evening sky after sunset, but will be more visible after reaching perihelion on November 28/29. After this, through much of December, ISON will be visible in the morning sky before dawn. ISON will be nearest the Earth around the Winter Solstice (Dec 20-22) and should provide a fine show through mid-January, 2014.
